XXL has released their freshmen class of 2010 considering Drake wasn’t on it last year and Nicki Minaj declined to be on it this year, XXL needs to hire better qualified talent scouts like one’s that use the internet. I kid.

Here are my totally bias and uneducated guesses about the future of these “rising stars”.

J.Cole – Has potential but is going to completely flop

Pill – Never head of Pill but I’m guessing he’s from the South. Enough said.

Nipsey Hu$$le – I don’t think people in the west care about anything other than Dr. Dre’s Detox and those random surfer/hipster rappers.

Wiz Khalifa – If remaking nineties dance songs is your road to success than you’ve already lost.

OJ Da Juiceman – I don’t think anyone wants to listen to Gucci Mane light.

Freddie Gibbs – This guy looks like he was freshmen in 1989.

Big Sean – Worst flow ever. Kanye must have been sniffing something with Amber to have signed this guy.

Jay Rock – Another westcoast dude, but thing is this guy seems like a real G, So I’m not going say anything bad.

Fashawn – Let me guess he’s going to bring “real hip hop” back?

Donnis – Wait let me guess he sings (auto-tune) and raps?
