Tyga’s first week album sales we’re bamboozled when his record label had to pull the physical copies from shelves because the album contained a sample of Martin Luther King Jr. Speaking on 106 & Park, Tyga tried to explain that because the younger generation doesn’t know about the struggle King went through, he wanted to help educate them. He says, “For his people (King’s) not to clear it, it let me down, because I was really trying to send a message”.

Now this just maybe a shot in the dark, but I’m pretty sure King’s people pulled up the Rack City video and we’re like “hell no fucking right”.
