Well it seems Toronto singer The Weeknd whose been redefining indie R&B all year with the release of two critically acclaimed mixtapes (House of Ballons and Thursday) has caught the ear of Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga will be dropping a new remix album and has just leaked the first single which features The Weeknd and his in-house producer Illangelo remxing “Marry the Night”.

This is an interesting move for The Weeknd as his image has always been counter to the mainstream, but on second though his image does closely align with Lady Gaga’s image and could be indicative of the heights he plans to take his otherwise indie-centric career.
