Well it looks like everyone who doubted Lil Wayne’s buzz (including myself) was wrong. The fourth installment in the Carter series not only broke the iTunes sales record pushing over 300,000 downloads in four days but also beat the record set by Jay-Z/Kanye’s Watch The Throne only three weeks back.

As a result, sales projections for Tha Carter 4 have increased to between 925,000 and 975,000 for the first week, where previously they we’re expected at 700-850k.

We will know the official numbers by Tuesday of next week.
