Promethazine and Codeine, better known as cough syrup and the same concoction that killed Dj Screw and Pimp C. Lil Wayne spoke to MTV about his addiction to sizzurp. Here’s what the idiot had to say,

It ain’t that easy it feels like death in your stomach when you stop doing that shit. You gotta learn how to stop, you gotta go through detox. You gotta do all kinds of stuff. Like I said, I’m a selfish-ass nigga. I feel like everything I do is successful and productive. It’s gonna be hard to tell me I’m slipping. It’s hard to sit and tell a nigga “Stop it”, how can we tell this nigga to stop when every fucking thing he do is successful? This nigga is making progress. He just went and talked to kids and that shit was amazing. You Feel me? So what am I doing wrong?
Let me do me. Everybody’s got their thing. Why focus on me? Don’t compare me to no one. Don’t compare me to no one who has passed, and why they passed. Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive. He knows it, everybody knows it. He can do whatever the fuck he wants because he will always be remembered as the talent. He has obtained so much talent for the past years that we should concentrate on his music and not on the cough syrup. He knows what he is doing. If he feels like drinking cough syrup, then he can do it. Worry about yourselves and stop judging and criticizing people you don’t know.
I am sure that more than half of the people that wrote on this blog have some fucked up addiction (even if it is unconscious). So, fuck off and let the man be.
