Weezy F. makes another magazine cover this month (what it is four covers in the last month?), this time he graces the pages of Mark Ecko’s mag, Complex. The funniest thing about the interview is when Lil Wayne was asked about the disparaging remarks The Clipse had said about him. To refresh your memory they said he was a Jay-Z clone and was biting their fashion style, specifically with regards to the Bapes hoodies and bapesta shoes. Weezy says,
“I thought the whole ‘Mr. Me Too’ video was about me, to tell you the damn truth. They think I want to be like them. I’m on a million-dollar bus going around the world charging people from $50,000 to $150,000 for verses, and I got 77 songs in magazines and I got a billion more. Do the math; you think I’m trying to be like you? No sir.â€
Haha. I really don’t think the Clipse should go to war with Weezy. To borrow from Hov, I don’t know why their advisers ain’t forewarn ’em. To read the interview in it’s entirety the Weezy Complex issue hits stands in December.
P.S. The cover looks more like a Tupac Mr. Me Too.
