As reported earlier, Kanye had some interesting things to say about his album, here is some raw footage from Kanye’s speech at the 808’s & Heartbreak listening party.

For the most part, he is defending his use of the vocoder as critics (namely us) have been blasting him for going into “T-Pain gimmick territory”. He even concedes that another Kanye album will be out in June -likely with more rapping. I think most of us, haters, are going to be surprised at how Kanye uses the vocoder to make artistic statements only a singer could make and not in the way that T-Pain and Ron Bronz have used it – in a more club friendly format.
