In the three rap categories, Kanye, who was a no-show at the Grammys, took them all. He won Rap Album Of The Year for MBDTF. He won Best Rap Collaboration for “All of the Lights” which featured Rihanna, Fergie, Kid Cudi and a whole bunch of other artists. And he won Best Rap Performance along with Jay-Z for “Otis” from Watch The Throne. On the flip side, Cash Money who was nominated for 17 awards among all their artists, didn’t win a single one. Again the Grammy’s have got it right again by choosing music over popularity.

You have to hand it to the Grammy’s the big winners of the night included Adele, Bon Iver, Foo Fighters and Kanye West. All artists that push the creative fold all while staying true to who they are and not becoming out of touch pop divas. They are all artists that put the music first and not their outwardly appearance (Hi Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Justin Bieber).
