Young Jeezy whose been a staple in Atlanta thug rap and who has achieved nationwide recognition is mounting a sort of comeback recently. Fresh of his BET Hip Hop Awards where he and recently released T.I. performed F.A.M.E. The song which which samples dance Above & Beyond’s “Air for Life”, is an ethereal street anthem, which melts Drake’s So Far Gone sound with a grittier edge. It’s a much different sound than we’ve previously heard from Jeezy and while still remaining anthemic, it does force us to take Jeezy a little more seriously now.
