Author Christopher Hitchens hit up The Hour to talk about his book “God is Not Great”. His position is basically that God doesn’t exist and religion is responsible for a large amount of human suffering. I happen to agree with him on the latter point, however, I still do think God exists. I had a philosophy teacher once tell me, “It’s better to believe in God than not, because if your wrong, so what, but if your right you’ll be fine, but if you don’t believe and your wrong, who knows?” Not that’s a good reason to believe in God, but good enough of for me.
What say you? Believer? Non-believer? Religious? Non-religious?
