On first listen, Future isn’t what guys who consider Eminem the “second coming” as a good rapper. Some recent comments on his new video “Tony Montana” ask “Is this guy retarded?”.

I admit I too wasn’t feeling Future’s music and then I took in some of his songs while just chilling with my folk and his music made sense. I don’t want to be at a party listening to Joe Budden blab on about his problems, I want to hear that Alpha male ignorant shit. And that’s precisely where rappers like Future and 2 Chainz fit in.

If you are still on the fence about these guys take in any of their mixtapes while in a social setting (that is assuming you have friends to begin with) and tell me their music doesn’t provide the appropriate soundtrack for all kinds of thuggery.
