It all starts with an older, more refined Common taking a nap in his new apartment after some lengthy bible study. Unfortunately for Common, his neighbors are all aspiring basketball players, graffiti artists, ballerinas, hipsters and expecting mothers who practice their craft at all hours of the day. Being the man who brought us “The Light”, “Retrospect for Life” and of course “I Used to Love H.E.R.”, Common is able to remain focused, here he finds solace in his building’s staircase.
