Common seems to have reinvented himself (again) since dropping his first single earlier this year. He continues the re-reinvention by going at soft rappers on his new song “Sweet”. Now if you are not sure about Common’s history he’s generally regarded as one of the softest rappers during the 90’s (aside from the diss track “The Bitch in You” he flung at Ice Cube), so it’s kind of interesting that he’s now going at soft rappers, particularly those that “sing”. Oh great another ol’ rapper going at Drake.
