Big Sean is steadily getting his buzz up as the release of his new mixtape Detroit draws near. Going in a more subdued direction, his new single 24 Karats of Gold is nothing like the name implies nor nothing like we’ve heard Big Sean sound like in recent months (Mercy, My Homies Still, Burn), in fact it’s more akin to his first radio single My Last. While I’m personally not feeling Sean’s sing-songy flow, I could see it growing on me. Nah who am I kidding?
