As you may already know, Budden’s has left the building. He has formally announced he has left Def Jam. After going gold with his first and only album in 2003, Budden failed to release anymore albums, however, did drop two highly acclaimed street albums (Mood Muzik 1 & Mood Muzik 2). Budden had this to say,
“I’m just happy we were finally able to cut all ties. I feel like I have all the talent in the world, but for some reason was never able to showcase it there,†said Budden. “I’m looking forward to whatever God has in store for me, and Joe Budden fans should know – today is a beautiful day.”
I’m pretty sure Budden has some tricks up his sleeve, as Mood Muzik 3 should be dropping soon. I do, however, think Budden is just going to wait on the sidelines until all the politics and garbage music passes before signing to a major again. My bet is he will likely end up on Koch.
Also check out this deal for 500 free songs from Itunes (only for U.S residents). It’s good to stock up on some hard to find music, not to mention legal downloads that support the artist. Plus, Itunes makes it easier to find the damn song anyway.
