Is it any surprise that Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” was the biggest selling ringtone of 2008? I don’t think so, I heard it every time I went to the mall, oh maybe that’s cause I had it on my phone. According to the bean counters, Lil Wayne sold 2.36 million ringtones of “Lollipop” which is probably translates into a ridiculously large check.

Not to be outdone, T.I., who incidentally had the second largest selling album with Papertrail, was also the second highest ringtone seller. T.I.’s trickin’ anthem “Whatever You Like” pushed 1.62 million ringtones.

Honorable mention goes to Flo-Rida’s “Low”, Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Usher’s “Love in the Club” who all round out the top five biggest ringtone pushers in the country.
