In an interview with Hot 97, 50 Cent talked about a lot of things, obviously his album, his money and of course his feud with Kanye, you know the usual stuff that’s getting a little played out right now. He did, however, mention that he had a meeting with former D-Block member Jae Hood or J-Hood (no one seems to know how his name is spelled). He would only say that he has advised J-Hood to contact his lawyer to see if it was possible for him to work with Fifty in the future. This would be a really good look for J-Hood as he has potential and as Fifty said, “he can rap”. Fifty also indicated that it was because of Sheek Louch, a member of the Lox, that J-Hood’s project was being held back.

For all my Southern readers, J-Hood is a New York rapper who came into the NY mixtape scene about five years ago. He was a member of the Lox’s D-Block and was considered the fourth member. He had a spark when he started but has fallen off considerably as he has trouble molding his voice to a beat and ends up sounding like he’s talking. My advice for J-Hood is to do whatever it takes to get Fifty to help you and you can watch Sheek Louch eat humble pie when you go triple platinum.
